Dear Parents/Carers
Following the Government’s decision to close schools until further notice, we are putting a number of practices in place during these exceptional times.
As all examinations for Year 11 have been cancelled by the Government due to the COVID-19 measures with immediate effect, Year 11 have finished their schooling.
- Friday 20th March 2020 – will be the last day for Year 11. I will be posting home a letter to Year 11 students and parents.
- Friday 20th March 2020 – will be the last day of term for students in Years 7 – 10.
The Academy will remain open for its own students who are children of key workers and where supervision at home is not possible from Monday 23rd March 2020.
A final letter for this term and arrangements for students learning from home will be published here on our website on Friday 20th March.
I will of course update you on any new developments as they happen.
