Kiechelle, Vanessa, Michael-Joel , Adeola, Tyrelle and Nasra all took time out of their summer holiday to take part in a 5 day ‘Tottenham Young Entrepreneurs Programme” demonstrating maturity and dedication whilst using their planning, organisation and communication skills.
In teams with students from other schools, they were set the challenge to create a business model to benefit the community and then present their ideas to business experts and Councillor David Browne. Lord Alan Sugar and the team from the Apprentice, as well as Tottenham MP David Lammy, visited them during the week.
Adeola and Tyrelle were both part of the winning team who will go on to represent Haringey in the London finals in July 2013.
Ms Gardner was able to proudly join the students as they ‘graduated’ at a ceremony held at Haringey Civic Centre to mark their achievement, presented by the Mayor of Haringey, with adult professional qualifications accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) – A qualification Level 2 Award in Team Leading.
Congratulations!!
