We are delighted to announce a very strong set of GCSE and vocational results. As the table below shows, outcomes in English & Maths are significantly better than those achieved in 2019 when public exams were last taken.

Successful outcomes in English and Maths have been replicated by the vast majority of subjects, with stronger results having been achieved compared to previous years. Of particular note are the separate sciences (Biology, Chemistry, & Physics), where more than 79% of students achieved grades 9-7 in all three subjects. In addition, there are a further four subjects where at least 50% of the students entered were awarded grades 9-5: these are Computer Science, Sociology, Design Technology, & Textiles.

“I am eternally grateful to the immense support given by the school. I don’t think I’ll ever forget the experience I’ve had, the friends I’ve made or the forever encouraging teachers. Thank you for the amazing support off and online for these past couple of years. I was able to grow so much as a person and so I will truly miss this school and everyone in it”. – Zeinab Ahmed

We congratulate our Year 11 students who have been well-rewarded for their dedication and hard work during what has been the most challenging of times. Also, we extend our sincere thanks to parents for their ongoing support and to staff for their efforts & dedication on behalf of our students.

“I’m very happy with my results and although it’s been a challenging year for everyone, everything we’ve been through as a whole has taught me self discipline and how hard you need to work for great results!”  – Keeti Tolera

Eight of our top attaining students have achieved an average Grade 8 or better across 10 or 11 subjects. Two of them, Karima Khanom and Norbert Bumbar, achieved an astonishing ten awards at Grade 9. Also, the remarkable Fernando Marin Felix, who joined us from Spain less than 3 years ago and able to speak very little English at that time, has been awarded seven grade 9s and three grade 8s.

“These last five years have been as equally challenging as they have been rewarding, however it was all worth it for these grades” – Norbert Bumbar

We wish them all every success as they move on to their next challenge.

“I am very happy with my results and its a credit to all my teachers and to my parents . I came to the UK from Spain in 2019 and could not speak English properly and I managed to get a grade 9 in English Language, this was only possible due to the dedication of staff at Duke`s and my personal effort and dedication to my studies . I did work extremely hard and it has paid off , Mr Sayid always tells us “Hard work always pays off , and surely my results are a testimony to this . Thank you Miss Duncan and all the staff at Duke`s.” – Fernando Felix
